Hello, my name is Jose Fernandez and im going to tell you about a place that I love but is in danger.As the demand for natural resources continues to grow, the threat of environmental destruction also increases. Mining activities are a significant contributor to this threat, and unfortunately, many ecosystems are at risk of being destroyed. One such ecosystem that is currently under threat is the beautiful forested hills in Cumbe. Growing up in the town, the forested hills were a significant part of my childhood. We used to explore the forest, hike up the hills, and have picnics in the place. The forest was not only a source of entertainment and adventure, but it was also home to a diverse range of plants and animals that were an integral part of the ecosystem. However, the local government has recently approved mining activities in the area, which will have a devastating impact on the forested hills.
